Our Team

Just Cause Education Outreach was founded in 2011 by two Canadian teachers. It began as a non-profit organization based in Southwestern Ontario and gained Canadian Charitable status in 2017.

Both founding members, Sara Hansen and Michelle Massaro act as Directors and serve the organization as Volunteer Team Leaders. As teachers they spend the school year fundraising in Canada for their projects and travel to Uganda during school break periods to oversee the on-going projects and to work with Ugandan students.

The Board of Directors and volunteers are made up of Canadian teachers. This is where Just Cause gets its enthusiasm for education!
